ProScan ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from those services.
- Documents and Scans: Documents you scan are stored on your device and, if you enable cloud backup, on our secure cloud servers powered by Supabase.
- Camera Access: We access your device camera solely to scan documents. We do not capture or store photos beyond what you explicitly scan.
- Photo Library Access: We access your photo library only when you choose to import images for scanning.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the scanning and document management service
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account
- To sync your documents across devices via cloud backup
- To improve our app and user experience
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which employs industry-standard encryption. Documents are associated with your account and are not accessible to other users. We use biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) as an additional security layer when enabled.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: For authentication and cloud data storage
- Google Sign-In: For optional social authentication
- Apple Sign-In: For optional social authentication
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data as necessary to provide the service (e.g., with our cloud infrastructure provider).
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your documents
- Opt out of cloud sync and keep data on-device only
Children's Privacy
ProScan is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
